Your timing is off just a hare. For now you can move the zigzag to a lower number. You may be able to get by if you move the needle to the right. I don't think that it will hit the plate but try it by moving the hand wheel the first time. Anyway, you will need to see your repairman to have the timing adjusted.

Sewing machine won't start buzzes memory craft 6000

Make sure that your bobbin winder is pushed to the right all the way. And a pattern stitch is picked, length and width. Also buttonhole lever is disengaged. Sometimes the easiest things stump us, LOL.
