SOURCE: Kensington Mouse

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps. Bud

How do u put the battery in?

Hi softfir,

I have never used one of those mice personally but those small ones should be designed the same way when it comes to the battery door. If you looked on the bottom of the mouse and there is no indication of a battery door, there may be a hidden door on the top of the mouse. Try this and see if it works:

Turn the mouse around with the label facing upside-down. Holding it with both hands, place your thumbs on the left and right side a little below the Kensington label. Using your thumbs, push the top of the mouse forward to see if the cover comes off easily and reveals the battery compartment.

Good luck and let me know if this helps,

I have a kensington wireless mouse. the wireless keyboard works, but the mouse does not. The red laser light is on, but it won't move

Have you tried to resync the mouse with the receiver. Usually, you need to press the button on the reciever first, then quickly hit the button on bottom of the mouse.

Laser mouse no power

Make sure that the switch on the mouse is ON. Try another battery. If you get the same problem, you need to contact the manufacturer or the reseller for RMA.

My mouse dose not move

There is a connect button under the mouse.
and there is a button on the reciever. Please press both the buttons together for 2 minutes and after this it is supposed to work. However if it is not working replace the battries and do this sync process again.

If still not working contact kensington support they will replace for you.
