If you can manage to type a few words you can go to www.google.com, select "images" at the top left and search for "inspiron keyboard". There are plenty of pictures there.

If you have digital camera just take a picture of a friend's keyboard or one at work. All Windows computers have pretty much the same layout with the exception of IBM computers.

If you cannot get the buttons back on you can get a replacement keyboard from eBay. They run from $20-$60. Just make sure that you specify which Inspiron you have. (E.g. Dell Inspiron 6000)

I hope this helps.

Where is wireless switch on inspiron 1525

I believe it is the same as the 1525, look on the right side of the laptop before the dvd tray, there will be a thin spring loaded button that you slide back towards the rear to activate the wireless.

My Dell Inspiron 1525 works well finding unsecured

I don't know if you are using the standard Windows wireless LAN management, or the special DELL application for that. Anyway, try looking for a profile of that particular network in WLAN management (either Manage Wireless Networks in Windows networking, or something to that effect in in that DELL WLAN profile management) and deleting that profile, making it possible to search for it again "for the first time", so to say.

you could use your system restore function to restore your computer to a date prior to when the passwords were placed on the computer. I believe f10 when booting will access the system restore menu on a dell. if not try f8
