The color is blurry and the picture is darker than normal. The picture has a line going across the screen from left to right and it now scrolls up the screen like a “wave”.

this indications that you have a problem with convergence. first try to go into customer menu...setup....convergence. and see if the convergence will adjust.. if it wont then you have a problem with the convergence cuircit boards.

SOURCE: Black lines down page
It must be the black pcu , the cleaning blade picks up dirt and causes these lines , it can also be the black developer giving you trouble , if you want be very carefull aand strip the pcu open you will see the lines only on the inside and not from outside , then you will know if it is developer or the cleaning blade

Try changing your resolution, if the lines stay in the exact same position (so do not change together with the resolution) this might be a mediacentre issue. Press CNTRL-ALT-DEL and see in the processes tab if ehtray.exe is running. If it is running, turn it of by unchecking it and see if the lines disappeared.

Usually the case with this issue is the LCD panel itself. After a certain long period of time, some LCD panels just bug out and stop working. ( not sure why, possibly the way they were assembled and manufactured. For instance the LCD Panel has 8 connectors ((top)) and 3 connectors ((left)) (((Depends on model)))that attach to the main board of the LCD Panel, and on many occasions the thin lines wear and cut and therefore loosing part of your screen. If i explain further how it works i can write you a good explanation, just message me. That is the issue or the Cable connector from the Video Card to the LCD Panel is faulty. Try replacing that or the line will stay there for a long while then eventually your LCD display will begin to show more lines and eventualy Nebula itself. ( unusable )
You can also try repairing the LCD, in some rare cases the only problem when the line shows up is because of the video genesis card inside the FPD. try swapping that out with a known good one and perhaps that will work otherwise eventually the monitor will begin to stop working over time.
