I'm looking for a new power cable for my Dynex DX-L40-10A television If that model no longer exists can I use a different power chord?

Yes you can. Any cord that has the same prongs or just one that plugs in the same as the other cord will work.

I lost my remote for my Dynex TV. Is there any way to change the video mode manually?

On the right hand side there should be a panel of buttons. One is marked "Input". That should change your video mode.

Manual available, click here.

This is a crazy question but I have a Dynex DX-L32-10C. I like it fine, no complaints, but tonight I lost the remote and realized this unit does not appear to have any on/off buttons. I did eventually...

Try looking at the bottom of the left side of the TV for control buttons. The on/off button would be at the bottom of the group. The manual for the similar DX-L32-10A is available online as a PDF at the Dynex support site: http://www.dynexproducts.com/products/televisions/DX-L32-10A.html .

I hope this helps.

(other TVs have the on/off button on the top or the right side; a few have buttons touched under the front of the monitor. It's worth checking. Very few TVs do not have a power button on the TV.)

I have connected my Optimum Cable to my brand new Dynex DX-L32-10A with component input. However, there is a constant humming noise coming from the TV speakers.

Check your wiring, you have a video cable in an audio input or vice versa.

Let me know your findings.
