Richard, sounds like you did all the pretests. You'll need a new display panel. When you work on it, be sure to cut the power.

SOURCE: Don't know if the oven part of range is gas or electric

The model number can usually be found just inside the door or drawer (on the range itself).

All the Jenn-Air convection ovens I'm familiar with are electric even if the cook top is gas.

SOURCE: my kenmore elite electric slide in range displayed error and F13 and the oven won't turn on

i phoned Sears about error code f13 on a gas range, and was told to unplug the range for 30 minutes. i think she meant 30 seconds - to reprogram the microchip. i unplugged it for 15 minutes or so, then reconnected, and it worked.

Replacing burner on slide in FES365ECA frigidaire stove

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are trying to get assistance on how to access the burners on your glass-top Frigidaire range, model# FES365ECA. I suggest contacting the manufacturer. They might have some type of diagram that will assist you in replacing the burner. My other suggestion would be to contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. The technicians have been trained to replace parts on your range. Hope this is helpful.

Door won't. open on frigidare convection oven #240462603 can you help?

Good Afternoon Karen, this you for your question!

I understand your Frigidaire oven (240462603) will not unlock. However, it appears above-listed model number is invalid. The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located in the storage drawer, on the right side.

In the meantime, I suggest pressing the CLEAR/OFF or CANCEL button in for approximately three seconds if your range is a touchpad model.

If you have a knob type range control, I suggest starting a self-clean cycle. Then turn the stop time knob to the off position. If that does not work, then disconnect power to your range and reset it by either unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. It is necessary to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your range on.

I ask that you please follow up with a response on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your range status has changed successfully.

Best of luck - Z

Hi Donna, I am happy to assist you!

If the oven door is locked with door closed, try pressing the CLEAR/OFF or CANCEL button in for approximately three seconds if your unit is a touchpad model.

If you have a knob type range control, I suggest starting a self-clean cycle. Then turn the stop time knob to the off position. If that does not work, then disconnect power to the stove and then reset unit by either unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. It is necessary to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the range on.

Frigidaire gas range model FGF316WGSH, all burners have gas but neither of the igniters will work when the knobs are turned to lite

Electric gas igniters sometimes get stuck in one position causing a clicking sound. The clicking sound that you hear is the electric arc that is pulsing from the igniter conductor (wire) to ground (the gas burner). It receives power from the electrical outlet that the stove is plugged into.
Residue from food and sometimes cleaning products may be preventing the igniter from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. This is a common problem that occurs when the stove has been cleaned or food is allowed to build up. Make sure that the igniter and the burner base are clean and dry. This will help with proper operation. Oven cleaner and a small tooth brush may be used to accomplish this. Another problem with ignition may occur if you have too little (touching) or too much space between the igniter and the base of the burner; it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the igniter. A good "blue" arc from the igniter to the burner base is optimal. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the electric igniter module. Good luck.

Replacing a burner on a frigidaire electric stove

If you are talking about one of the four(4) elemnts on the top, all you need to do is pull it out and slide the new on back in. According to the model you provided, it has just the standard coil surface burners.

Good Luck!!

The ESEC lockout feature is on. The slide in stove is brand new and just turned on and we can't get it out of the locked mode.

you can unplug the stove and plug it back in that will take the looking position. and in other models, set the oven to clean the oven for 5 minotes, and it will go of and will relace the oven door.

I have a frigidaire PLES389ECC. One of the knobs for an eye on the stove top is in the off position but the display shows it on low. This setting will automatically jump to 2.0. Heat is being given off...

remove the knob fist off and try using a diff knob, perhaps the back of hte knob has become strepped and/or cracked. afeter removing hte knob see if you can manually turn the switch off,if not replacing the switch seems the likely answwer, they call it a poteniometer, and each positon of "eye" has a specific one so order the correct one
