If you could shoot slugs with a full length barrel , you can do so with a shortened barrel
the problem will be accuracy over any distance

I'll have to try that, it's not the card, probably just a glitch from being tied to the PC - and yes you can reset and start from scratch again from the menu settings. try that first before the firmware which is a last resort. randy320sgi

They should be able to tell you if the barrel is available and maybe how much or what dealer has one.
The 1300 was made from 1978 to 2006 so that should narrow down the date at least.
