If you just need to soften one tanned hide, simply find a good solid edge that does not contain any splinters, burrs or objects that can rip the hide, like on the sanded edges of a saw horse. Grab two sides of the hide and rub or buff it across the edge as you pull it taut until it softens. Repeat for the entire hide. This process breaks the hardness of the hide.

My husband had operation and hole leg bust open he remove stiches yesterday and burst open again according to the nurse they only tide the skin there was nothing to tide the burst of skin

They need to come and dress it better. If the stitches don't hold it closed they may need to let it heal as an open wound. But they can keep it dressed and clean until it does although it will take longer to heal that way. Hope this helps.

I have a tanning bed burn. What can I put on it? It is really painful.

Over-exposure to tanning beds for too long can cause burns, especially in sensitive skin. Aloe Vera is great for skin burns. It works as an anti-inflammatory and sooths the pain as well. Cold compresses can also help soothe.

If the burn is really bad or looks like it might be infected, you should go to your doctor immediately.

Do you need wet skin before you shave it?

You don't have to be wet before you shave your legs, but you do need some kind of barrier, such as shaving cream before you put the razor on your skin.

However, having a bath or shower up to ten minutes before you shave your legs will soften your skin and relax the hair follicle. If you use a mild exfoliator on your skin before you shave it can also help to get rid of dead skin cells.

Blade keeps moving off wheel becomes stiff to turn.blade moves back on low wheel and becomes stuck I've tried tension and tracking but it does not seem to change

If the rubber "tires" on the wheels are worn out or dried out and hard, you may have to replace them. But you may be able to salvage them by dressing them. There should be a little bit of a crown to the rubber (seems counter-intuitive, but it's true). If the tires have enough rubber left you can restore the crown by hand sanding.

Fabric softener won't dispense

Have you tried thinning the softener with water? It's what I used to do on my older washer, it wasn't the new Duet, but it seemed to help. Hope that helps. (PS I don't use softener anymore as I have developed a terrible skin allergy to these newer longer scented softeners! )
