SOURCE: Ice maker is not working

if you keep your hands out of the little beam slot on the paddel that is located on the left of the freezer and push it in the beam should shoot across to the reciever on the right and the light should stay on constant, that is if you have the switch on the right side turned on.

if it is turned on and the paddel is depressed and the light is still blinking the you need a beam kit part number 4389102

SOURCE: LG ICE MAKER

Be sure that the fill tube is getting into the ice maker and that the ice maker is not blocked with ice.  If everything seems ok, you may have a leaking water valve which causes it to constantly drip water into the ice maker causing the block of ice.

SOURCE: water dispenser on front of refrigerator door does not dispense water. Ice Cube maker continues to make ice cubes. Defrosting doesn't fix problem.

Water dispensing solenoid is bad. You need to replace the solenoid valve. This typically is independent of the ice maker.

My refrigerator in-door ice maker jams up with ice. Some ice cubes are connected together. Maybe the freezer bins are overflowing. Does a defective timer at the end of the ice maker cause this?

We have one also. We put the ice in a bag and whack it in the sink to break up -- or simply toss. Make sure that the ice bucket in the door is not dirty, a beam is sent across it to sense ice level and turn the maker on/off. Also clean sensors either side of the door inside with soap and water. make sure it is dry.

Ge refrigerator gts22wcm ice

Hi,

Inspect the ice maker itself, sounds like either you have a jammed cube or your ice maker is not turning on heater to eject ice cubes from mold. If heater is the failure - replace ice maker. If unit is jammed, clear the ice maker mold and allow to cycle to see if damage was done to gear or ice production is restored.

Good Luck

I have a Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator Model #G17FVCXWY and the ice maker jams up about once a month (ice doesn't completely dump into the door bin, water refills into the ice maker, then refreezes to...

HI, we have the same problem with ours from time to time. It is a engineering flaw, bad design, the ice cubes are kept in the refrigerator section, which is about 38-40 degrees. So the ice cubes melt, the only way to keep it clear is to use ice cubes every day and not let then thaw and freeze.

I replace the filter and now it dose'nt make ice

Check for a jammed ice cube in the fingers. Use a hair dryer to release the jammed cube.
Add some water to the ice mold and see if that don't speed up the process if the ice mold is empty.
After changing that filter:
Ice in the mold none in the bucket= ice maker problem
Empty mold= water supply problem

The ice maker drawer was left open a crack and the ice froze up and now it will not produce ice

Hi. Use a hair blow dryer to thaw out the ice maker. Remove all of the ice, warm up the tubes, be sure the ice cube molds are ice free. THEN close the door and let it make ice. The first set of new cubes will take a long time, often up to 24 hours. Joe

Ice Maker not working

Get me the model number. Put tap water in ice maker tray and make sure arm is down. Let it freeze. Wait and see if the ice will drop, this should allow water to come into the ice maker for another run. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
