My LG front loading washer makes a train noise during the rinse cycle. What could be the cause?

if it is right after the drain cycle; it then goes into a spin. It then starts to fill with water for the rinse while the tub is still turning. The water entering the tub while the tub is spinning, cleans the tub of soap and the water going through the holes in the tub are causing the noise. It is normal if only in the rinse cycle.

Loud banging noise during rinse

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the rinse or spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary. This will solve your problem.

Describe your Kenmore 24032 \ 24036 Top Load

MAke sure that the cothes are not unbalancing the tub. Iv seen this happen where the clothes are unbalancing the tub and it moving around and the when the water for the rinse is coming out its not getting in the tub its splashing on the top of the tub ring due the the unbalanced spin. does this happen when you wash a heavy load? do you notice it not doing that when you washer a light load?

Roper washing machine- unbalanced spin - rocking agitator

I usually stand in front of the washer and take the plams of my hands and forcefully provide a force with the heel of my hands on the side front corners and the lip comes up

Another option is to pull the washer out and remove 2 clips (usually requires quarter inch nut driver to allow the top to come up

This should allow you to get the top off to see if a spring has broken or slipped off

GOOD LUCK!

Keeps on rinsing and spinning over and over again

Aha! Mine was doing the same thing and I also noticed that there was some excess water in bottom of the tub - not the tub that the clothes go in but the one that that tub is sitting in. Does that make sense? Anyway, I cut the zip tie that holds the drainage hose, brought the hose as close to the house as possible and siphoned the excess water out of the tub. After this I tried a small test load and it worked no problem. I think the fact that there was this excess water left in the machine made the load too heavy to start the spin cycle.

Hope this helps.

Loud clicking/thumping in rinse and spin cycle

It doesn't look like a motor problem !!! It seems like an unbalanced tub issue. The machin has suspension dampers and suspension rods, and it's look like one of them was damaged or "run away" from its location during machin's movement. Goog luck !!
