MP3 Wont charge or upload

Some tablet brands will not recognize certain charger brands or connections.
First, try all available connections-USB-wall inverter, and direct computer connection (making sure the computer is awake and logged in). Second, try restarting your tablet. Third, try gently wiggling the connections on both ends, to see if it recognizes a charge. Finally, leave it plugged in for a few hours, even if it says it isn't charging. You may have a trickle charge-to put it simply, the cord is not giving the device enough power to qualify as a charge, but there is power traveling through the cord. If the charge level goes up a little over that time span, you have a trickle.
If these don't work, just purchase a new charger. They're sold everywhere-Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, 7-Eleven, name a store and they probably sell USB charger cords.

Try to check power cord or else try to check your power switch.

connect the usb cord you received with the device to the device and to your computer and it will charge automatically. generally you want to charge a device for several hours at least, most devices will let you know when they are done charging.

People on other posts said to get a wall charger and that'll work. We looked for one, but couldn't find one. We ended up using a usb camera upload cord that had the same connector. It charged just fine after that. We have a 180 Eclipse mp3 player...I'm guessing the cord connectors are pretty universal.

I swore it off as Junk untill I took the time to figure this out.
When charging the power swith needs to be in the "ON" position.
Charge for around 3-5 hrs.
To turn device ON You hold down the Play/Pause button for quite some time, (much more time than expected from other players,cellphones or devices) the unit should power up and display "ECLIPSE".
I thought I was "taken" and strange when I saw the link for Qresolve within the files of something that did not work.
Theres even an EQ feature in the Menu and the sound is pretty decent. Good Luck!

There might be a few issues here:

1. Your ipod software needs to be updated
2. Your usb cord is bad
3. Your usb port is not working properly

Either find someone that has a firewire port and update it via itunes, or use someone elses computer to update your ipod's software.

ensure the unit is chargeable using usb data cable, usb charger has only 2 out of 4 wires connected to the charger whereas when the cable is used as data cable all the 4 wires are connected and the device acts as a usb device, this may block the charging of the device due to internal circuit design within the device.

try letting it die completely and i mean dead wont even try and turn on dead, then leave it on a charger over night and see if that help

Well it wont be compatible with the mp3. even if it does seem to fit into the slot where it charges you still wont get it to charge. also different chargers deliver a different ammount of energy to the device so it either wouldnt be enough or it would be too much. I hope this helps you solve your problem.

Are you sure it's not charging? What makes you think it's not charging? When you plug the USB cord in (and it's attached to the charger or the PC)a screen should appear temporarily. It shows a picture of a PC with a usb cable coming out of it. Are you not even seeing that much? Remember that this is a no-name Chinese player, so don't expect iPod or iRiver quality. I didn't think mine turned on, but that's because the on/off switch was sticky and because you need to press play once or twice after it's turned on to get it to do anything. But so far, mine's working fine.
