Morse de luxe zig zag vintage sewing machine manuel... How many zigzag deluxes did Morse make... Is there a way to look up with one this is based on the serial number?

it sounds like both of the machine need to be check to see what
is wrong with the zig zag stitch controls or if it's the cam inside the
machine. a sewing technican can tell for sure

it's possible the zig zag gear or cam could be worn or damaged
and the machine should be checked to see for sure what's happened.

change the needle--one that is correct for the fabric being sewed
check the needle plate and see if there are any burrs--if there
are gently use a small file to take off the burr

the tenison dial may need to be replaced.

You need to become a detective. Find out what happened to Morse. Where are they now? Were they taken over? If you google the name you get all sorts of stuff come up on sewing forums and even some for sale on ebay. Get online a get digging. Took me seconds.
