Found an online owners manual for your Punch P500.2. This only covers installation and setting gains etc and doesn't have a circuit schematic repair diagram -

some decks save different settings on different sources. Make sure that the bass settings are not up higher on the radio sources and lower on the CD sources.

send the rockford to landis technical-they bought up all the parts to rockfords amps and will get them back to factory specs and recertify it for ya along with a new power certificate-look on rockfords website and snoop around and it will break it on down for ya and give you the address n stuff. i had to send my 1501bd mono amp in to get an overhaul and it came back throwin 1810watts rms so that was better than when i started -good luck.
