Press the input button on your remote control. Make sure you have selected the correct input device (ie, coax, usb, HDMI, etc), and then make sure your cable box, usb device, HDMI device, is powered up and sending a signal. Reboot device if needed.

Press the input button on your remote and make sure you've selected the correct "input device", (ie, coax, rca, usb, HDMI, component 1, component 2 , etc). Reboot your input device if needed, but that should fix it.

SOURCE: my 65 inch projection TV turns off within a few

If power light does come on and a few seconds later it goes off---do the self check that the WS65909 MITSUBISHI should have:

On the front of the set press and hold both the MENU and INPUT(OR DEVICE) BOTH FOR 5 SECONDS AND THEN RELEASE BOTH BUTTONS.

Power light should blink a two digit code--error code---for example: 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks.

Let me know what code you get----it will repeat it several times---and I will tell you what it means.

No picture showing after power on.

If this does not happen with other devices then I would say try a new video cable. HDMI cables can get very picky. If this happens at anytime then the inverter in TV is going out.

I have a Playstation 3/blu ray player and I don't know how to get hi def video on a samsung hln467w

Your TV only has a DVI input, not an HDMI which PS3 has as an output. You can buy a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect the HDMI out of the PS3 to the DVI input of the TV. To get the true HighDef video you need a HDMI input on the TV to enjoy the full capacity of the Blu ray capabilities of the PS3. DVI came out before the HDMI standard and your picture will look good but not like HDMI. I have the same problem with my samsung 65 inch. I Bought the wrong technology. I hope this helps and good luck!
