These switches are inside the doors attached to the door latch assembles. If you know some one with a scan tool you can go into the body computer and see which one is showing open when all the doors are closed. The most likly one is the drivers side door or the two in the rear gate. I've replaced those the most.If you don't want to replace them you can unplug them and the lights will go off. Hope this helps. If you need more info let me know> Thanks Dan

It is a sticky sensor in the door latch mechanism. Spray it w/ WD-40 and follow up with a dose of silicone spray. Open/close doors several times and it should be ok. If you have a problem with 1 door the other 3 are sure to follow---DO THIS TO ALL 4 DOORS!!!!!!!!!

something is improperly aligned in your door hinges, or something is wrong with the door switch. with the door open, see how hard it is to push the button that the door pushes when it closes. the fact that you have to put some pressure on the door to cause the fault to occur makes me think it might be in the door hinge. your car is new enough that it might still be under warranty. if you can i would take it back to the dealership. this is something you should deal with because it's a safety issue. if your door doesn't latch properly it could fly open in a collision. hope this helps.
SOURCE: My door ajar light and alarm continue to go off
Good Afternoon!
regarding your door adjar light....
it is not possible to disable the system as it is integral to the GEM module. this module controls several other features of your vehicle, therefore can not be disconnected. The lights typically come on as a result of a sticky switch for the lights. these switches are located on the back side of the door latches. they are not accesable without taking off the door panels. However, i have had success with lubricating the latches and working doors open and closed several times. If you look at the latch on the door itself, you will notice gaps near the corners, spray very generously, penetrating oil or WD40. take into consideration that gravity will pull the oils down, so spray up intop the little openings arround the latch, you are trying to get oil to reach the backside of the latch where the switch is located. do this to all 4 doors and you will more than likely succeed! the only other way to determine wich dor certainly is causing lights to come on is to see your local Ford dealer. only their computers are able to communicate with your onboard computer system to monitor which door is commanding the lamp on. I wish you luck!
ps...your 4 thumbs up is appreciated if i helped you

Replace the rear door pin-switch if needed after testing proper operation.
It is telling the alarm the door is open all the time.
Most likely corroded terminals or wire.

Hey friend, thank you for your post!
In order to stop the door ajar alarm from beeping when the door is closed you would need to reset the alarm. If you have done that and it continues to beep it could be an issue within the switch or panel of your Frigidaire freezer. I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnose your appliance. -Matt
