Go to settings, support, software update. Make sure that your TV is connected to the internet. There may be a check box for automatic updates, check this for future. Then check update version. The pop up which follows will allow your tv to download and update the firmware. You should be able to install Netflix. ( Also in settings, options, make sure your service country setting is set to your cointry to
USA

Netflix on all my TV are dead too.
and most maker of TV refuse to update that app so it can work;
this is well known, not new info.
I have ROKU on all mine and updates every night while asleep.
most good TVs not have ROKU inside ending this pain of old TV screen apps going obsolete.

if that fails or tells you , no update found that is it. the end.
Buy a ROKU and end this,
Netflix changed the rules and 10,000 models of TV did not track that. (very costly that)
so they did nothing. (most )
OP in most cases you can't call LG and ask.
get netflix updates. to TVs
cures are:
1: A new TV with roku inside.
2: Roku box. (outside)
3: use PC with HDMI cable to TV and NF works.
ask LG, they will ask model#
same as we ask and not told.
so next time tell what TV you own.
we can not guess TVs and this is not the TV forum.(it be PC computers) not TV.
