I don't know what the code means, but I'd:
- fill the oil to the proper level
- install the cap
- disconnect and re-connect the battery to see if I can make the code go away
- Try using the generator
We use similar products in our warehouse as well, and usually there is a config file within these that the codes are programmed in, and shouldn't be deleted if it loses power. However, I would contact the original manufacturer for complete details on this item.
