I have a laptop with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Home & Bus 2010. I have messed up the system colours lost RED and can't undo/reset to default colours. Can you help? Brenda South Africa

Hello Shahbaz Afzaal Thank you very much for your response to my question above. I discovered that I actually had TWO display adapters, so I uninstalled both of them, per your suggestion, and then rebooted my laptop and the correct Display Adapter was reinstalled and the correct colours reappeared, at long last! Thank you so much. My problem has been solved! Kind regards, Brenda

If you have the product key and bought the Office 2007 software, it should show up on your purchase history on Microsoft's Purchase History
You will need your Passport log in id and password to see it - click on the download link to download the software again and use your key to register and activate.
Alternatively, download the trial version from Cnet, install and use your Product key to register when you install or after you install.

Microsoft office 2010 standard product key

Buy Windows 8 Activation Key 64bit 32bit
http://www.Genuinewindowkey.com/
there is also the site http://www.Genuinewindowkey.com/ that simply sell licenses only, Windows 8 activation key is 35.
I bought my Windows 8 activation key license on earlier this year and I have not had an activating problem.
should just find the iso operating system (I have downloaded from the Microsoft site, I do not know if is also easy for Windows 8 activation key), the site provides links but I think probably not in French.

I have office professional plus 2010, but all documents open in word pad not word.

Go to Control Panel > Default Programs > Associate File Type or Protocol with a Program > then scroll down until you find .doc and/or .docx in the list and click "Change program..." and choose either "Microsoft Office Client Virtualization Handler" or if that is not there "Microsoft Office 2010" and that should change what program the file type opens with.

I hope this helps!

This issue may occur if you deploy Outlook 2003 with the Microsoft Office 2003 Custom Installation Wizard and specify a personal folder (.pst) file in the Windows Installer transform (MST file) by using the Default location for PST files path option. The problem occurs because you specify a file name instead of a folder path.

To resolve this issue for future installations of Office, use the Custom Installation Wizard to edit the MST file. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the Change Office User Settings page (page 10 of 24), expand Microsoft Outlook 2003, expand Miscellaneous, and then click PST Settings.
  2. In the right pane, double-click Default location for PST files, and then type the path that you want in the Default location for PST files box. For example, type %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\.
  3. Click OK, and then follow the steps to complete the wizard. When you have corrected the MST file, deploy Office by using the correct MST file.
To resolve this issue for an existing installation of Outlook that is experiencing this problem, specify the .pst file by using the Mail icon in Control Panel.

Or If you are receiving and Err like
Error message when you start Outlook: "Unable to open the Outlook window," "No profile has been created," or "The list of Profiles cannot be loaded"Follow the step's below:This issue may occur on a computer that is running Windows XP if the Outlook.exe file was configured to open with the Windows program compatibility mode setting. When you set compatibility for Outlook to Windows 95 or to Windows 98/Windows Millennium Edition, Outlook displays this error message. This is because the location of the Outlook Profile information in the registry differs on a Windows XP-based computer.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Locate Outlook.exe.

Outlook.exe is typically located in one of the following folders, depending on the version of Outlook that you are running:
    • Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14
    • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
    • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11
    • Microsoft Outlook 2002 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10
    • Microsoft Outlook 2000 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 9
  2. Right-click Outlook.exe, and then click Properties.
  3. On the Compatibility tab, click to clear the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Try to start Outlook. If you receive error message again, use Method 2.
