You probably have a bind in the feed dog mechanism. If you can remove the covers and manually force them down you will see the hinge points that need to be oiled.
Unplug first!

Pull out the removable table and you will see the drop down feed dogs switch lever behind the back of the machine. Move that lever to the left or right to have feed dogs go back to normal sewing mode OR for embroidery mode.

On many machines you tilt the machine back on its hinges to see the underside and there you will find a thumbscrew to lower the feed dogs...you also need to be sure that your machine is capable of having its feed dogs lowered...not all machines can do this!

I have a Kenmore 150 also and this morning it started not pulling the fabric through. I flipped the feed dog switch a few time but it didn't help. So I removed the two screws that hold the plastic casing on under the feed dogs and piles of fabric/thread fuzz came out. I brushed and blew all the fuzz out and now the feed dogs are back to normal! Love this little machine!
