You can easily reset a Tissot T-Touch watch by following a few simple steps. Press the "T" button on the middle right side of the watch. Push the "Plus" button on the top right side of the watch to advance the minute hand to the correct time.

The Manual recommends a Renata CR1632.

Are you certain you installed the correct battery?

Is your case back screw on or snap on...older models have different back removal methods

Thanks, but this is not very helpful. I can adjust analog time and the hands behave correctly. The gibberish is in the digital window - no matter what I set there, in a few seconds it reverts to the same nonsense. Seems like it is a snap on. The battery was changed by a guy in a watch store (not Tissiot authorized), I assumed he installed the proper one.

Hello i have replaced the battery on my tissot t touch expert & display not working? Any suggestions. Battery was completely dead before change?

If the battery was dead too long the fumes from the battery might have damage the electronics and that's not good it will have to go back to tissot for a new movement What I'm going to tell u is very inportant. Never let a watch set dead I don't care if it's a windup or an automatic or even a battery watch. U must always keep the running because all the lubriactions will set up and not performed properly. Just like a car setting dead too kind In ur case the battery has cause the problem

Tissot t-touch battery problem

If you take a jeweler's lupe near where the arrow is you will see the word "reset" in the plastic.
There is a deep hole in the plastic with contacts below. That is the reset, and that is why you must use very sharp pointed tweezers to make contact with the back of the battery.

I think if you do not have sharp tweezers, you can probably put a sewing pin down the hole, and then connect with a small screwdriver to the back of the battery

How do I reset my tissot t touch expert

Steps to Synchronize the Hands

My Tissot touch will no longer sync - initially when in compas mode the hands were no longer aligning in a straight line and after using the compas mode i need to resync each time. Now the watch will not...

In this watch the battery should be changed after one year, depending on how often the features are used. After changing the battery the all reset should be done. Best to take it to an authorized service, and not any non authorized place to change the battery. Get in touch with Tissot for the info about where to bring the watch.

AC point is not located under the battery. It is at the edge of movement. Get an eyeglass with good magnification and you will find it.

Activate T Buton gose to Alarm function.

As with many watch manufacture houses novadays watch technology differs from house to house. Tissot is no difference as T-series watches was developed by Tissot itself.
You have to follow the steps one by one as instructed in your watch manual. Probably you will need reset your watch completely, depending what actions you've allready done.
In case if you lost your watch manual, go to www.tissot.ch and find out everything you need.

Battery Change on T-Touch

there usually is an AC contact point to reset digital watches. Touching the + and the ac point with a conductive wire usually resets the watch. Not sure about the spring- I'm not going to open my Tissot up unless I have to.
