SOURCE: com port

IR port --> in AS just go to "file\connection settings" then tick in the checkbox "enable connection serial cable or IR to this COM port" and choose from the drop down menu "IR port" BT port --> go to the BT manager on your PC, then "advanced config" and click onn thee nail "local services" - double click on the "BT Serial Port" and you will be prompted to the "properties" window that gives you a drop-down menu where you can choose the # of the COM port. You can also edit numbers in the System REgistry, but this requires proper care. I think the foregoing is sufficient for you

SOURCE: TK 380 diplays "FPU OLD!"

This means that you need an older version of software. to program the radio. When it comes to Kenwood the newer version software will not program the older FPU Version radios.

SOURCE: unable to program tk-3207

hi, all i can think of is- A, the computer is way too fast for the program you are trying to run, what you need is a really old slow computer or B,

check the COM port settings on your computer.
click start, right click on my computer, click properties, then click on the hardware tab, then device manager.

then there will be a 'Ports COM &LPT' just make sure the com port number is the same one as you are using on the software. Hope this helps.
