I have an old Lorex monitor (L14S244C) & 4 cameras we use just for surveillance during business hours. I would like to change the date and time on the display, but I do not have a remote.

SOURCE: Channel 3/Camera 3 not displaying properly

try swapping the cam inputs first to rule out the unit, if not the camera may be faulty or needs setting up properly with a focus adapter, or the lens could need setting up!
when CCTV company's set up these systems they have all the equipment to plug in and focus auomatically etc..
Hope this helps!
Try looking at www.digitalvideos.co.uk (test equipment) section.

SOURCE: How can I change the resolution from 1280 x 800.

Graphics Unable to use the native resolution, such as 1920x1080, 1680x1050 and 1440x900 circuit388.gif Symptom(s):
On some displays, users may be unable to use the native resolution when using Intel® chipset graphics. Resolutions such as 1920x1080, 1680x1050, and 1440x900 are not available in graphics properties.

Cause:
The display's EDID is not read properly when connected to some digital flat panel displays. Display devices describe its capabilities by sending EDID (Extended Display Information Data) to the computer.

Solution:
Intel has released a graphics driver to specifically address this issue; however, there may be side effects to this solution such as longer than normal resume times from standby. This solution will only work with external displays such as DFP displays connected to the computer's VGA port. This driver is not designed to address issues with a notebook's built-in display (Local Flat Panel) or with TV’s connected to the system. This driver is provided as is. Intel has not tested, and does not guarantee, the operation of the driver for this purpose.

SOURCE: daylight savings time changes at wrong date

The DST schedule is hardwired into the older clocks and cannot be modified to run on the new schedule. If the clock has a DST switch, you can can turn it OFF and reset the clock only twice a year. On my old "ATOMIC" clock, I've set the DST function OFF, and I use the time zone switch for my adjustments. Sorry, but your only other choice is a new clock.

No signal lorex

please make this test with your surve cameras:

Monitoring Problems

  • Cameras can now be monitored remotely, even through the Internet. However, there are times when monitoring a Lorex camera will not work because of browser or software incompatibility. Check to see if your system's software runs fine prior to use and get software updates as necessary. Because continuous monitoring can be tiring, installation of motion sensors helps make the monitoring process more efficient.

Internet Problems

  • Internet monitoring is now a very popular feature of security systems where users can get surveillance camera footage from their homes, business establishments or even while on vacation. Poor or slow Internet service can lead to difficulty accessing data. When monitoring surveillance cameras away from your home or business, be sure you have a fast and reliable Internet connection.
