Aiwa television comes with the option of blocking certain channels
from viewing, allowing you to control which channels people using the
television can view. However, if you forget the code that you entered to block
the channels, you might find yourself unable to watch those channels.
Fortunately, there are a couple of buttons on the television and the remote
that you can press to reset the PIN and customer ID numbers, which unblocks the
channels.
Turn
the television on.
Press
the "Volume Down" button on the front of the TV and press the
"7" button on the remote at the same time.
page 32 shows the audio out jacks , run the red and white wires to the inputs on the aiwa (i did not find a manual for the aiwa) if there are no input jacks on the aiwa then you can not connect it.
hope this helps
Thanks
Roety
Picture tube is magnetized. Manual degausing is required. already you have done this.
Since you say it is reappearing, you have to check the following.
1. Relocate the TV or relocate if you have placed any tower speakers or home theater speakers close-by.
2. Check whether auto degauss functioning OK. In the MENU check whether you switched off auto degauss option. If it is OFF enable it to ON.
3. Finally re orient the direction of your TV and watch the rainbow effect. Switch OFF TV, wait for 20 mts, and again switch ON. Repeat the process. It should disappear.
Magnetic toys or any other devises using magnet will cause this problem.
I have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149 The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.
Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.
Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :- AGING 6EDEH
Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :- S123 K234 Y 100 000 0
The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.
I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.
