The 0-83 error indicates a problem with the firmware update.
Try resetting the receiver's BIOS by following these steps2:
Unplug all cables
Un-Power the receiver
Power the receiver
Before the receiver gets into the "Enter for updating" message, press Tone + CBL/SAT + ON/STANDBY. This will show you either the volume numbers or get you into settings of the receiver's speaker configuration.
Press CBL/SAT + ON/STANDBY. This will clear the BIOS and show a "Clear" message on the display. Wait until you hear a couple of clicking sounds for the receiver to turn on and off the power.
Must be DSP problem no matter what model it is. TX-SR/NR OR even RZ Series.
(1)If old model TX-SR/NR, you should replace the BGA DSP Q3001 "D830K013A/BZKB" TO "D830K013DZKB"IF DZKB get damaged, replace it with same DSP Chip-DZKB. (2)For Tx-SR series, the DSP Q201 TMS320D788E001B SHOULD BE replaced with same model. (3)For new model, RZ series the DSP Q3404 CS49844 should be replaced with same model. (4)Crystal marked X201/3001/3404 should be replacd.

Hi Pablo the board you are looking for is only sold to Onkyo Authorized Service Centers so you would have to have the unit repaired at one of our service centers in order to purchase the board, Thanks, JT
