How do you clean the heat exchange coils on the Sharp Model SJ-2255 refrigerator? Where are the coils located?

Have you measured the temperature in the suppy plenum? Should be 140 to 160 max. If hotter, you have a blockage in the ductwork or vents closed. If within spec, bad circuit board.

on most refrigerators the plastic grill is a snap on most service tecks carry a long
brush that looks like a cats tail to clean the condenser coils a long bottle brush will also work but be gentle the tubing is metal the fan is normally located looking from the front back left corner if you have a plastic putty knife you can insert on top behind plastic close to the side and easily pop forward very few units are secured with screws ron

Unplug the refrigerator. Remove the lamp cover by lifting up at the bottom of the cover. Then unscrew the old bulb and replace with an identical appliance bulb (Base E12, 240V, MAX 15W, T-20). This bulb is at the top center of the fridge.
