2015 huskevarna 46 in riding lawn mower blade change

  • Joe Nyagah

Hey, friend, why do you need to change the blade when you can simply sharpen it? :) For instance, I've made the same mistake a lot of times (I simply threw away the dull blades instead of sharpening) until I found the article from this site https://mowerpedia.com where was described the way of sharpening :) Seriously, I removed the blade (according to their manual), cleaned it, and started sharpening it with the help of drill (yeah, the main factor to sharpen the blade is presence of drill), and then I established the blade on its place :)

    Profit :)

Excessive vibrating

Exsessive vibration is normally attributable to the mower deck. If the vibration is occurring while the blades are engaged and cutting this would indicate a need for further investigation. Check the blades for damage or uneven ware. If the blades are new or appear in good shape check the mandrals and shafts to ensure they are not Brocken or bent. You can get mandrel assembly's for around $60.00 online and replace all you need in one go.

I have a 46" Yard Man riding mower with 20 hp BS.

Hello, Ask your local Mower shop if they show a Thermal switch for the PTO. You may have to replace it or move it away from the heat.

Very bad vibration when engaging the blade

Bad vibrations when engaging blades is usually caused by an out of balance blade. Out of balance blades occur due to damaged and/or bent blades. The fix is to find and replace the offending blade.
