I just got the dvd player as a gift i need the reset password and its 3 digits
No manual on the internet for this 2007 player. Universally negative reviews on the internet, and apparently multiple manufacturers with the TruTech name on this model. Saw several still for sale online for $5.
No information on an internet search for a parental password reset.
Unfortunately, if it is a 3 digit password, might enter 001 to 999 to see if any work.

The best I can do for now is suggest entering 88888 as the password. This is the password as set by the manufacturer. If you or someone else has changed the password then I cannot help you. I do hope this helps.

I had the same problem. I took it apart and found a blown capacitor on the power board. It was a 10v 1000Uf high temp. capacitor. I replaced it with a new one and the dvd player worked fine. The capacitor can be ordered for a couple bucks and replace easily if you know how to solder.
