In yahoo mail I Can't bring up email in out box keeps clocking

I've (also) recently experienced more than the usual amount of "clocking" when checking yahoo mail ... i.e. system busy icon ... which doesn't enable you to do much else.
When the "clocking" is shown, the system is busy because it's doing something else in the background. Sometimes, it's downloading stuff - something else, like software updates, ad's, pop-up screens, images & videos for ad's, etc.), updating previous webpages, checking for updates to software (on your computer), and/or running some (other) programs ... which may include spyware, ad-tracking software, malware, security / virus scanning applications, etc.
Yes, yahoo mail downloads a lot of "junk" (advertisements) ... particularly since it's a free tool. One way to reduce this volume of downloads is to set your browser to not accept pop-ups, to only accept cookies from the webpages you visit, to not store or update previous webpages, to delete old webpages (from history), to delete (internet-temporary) cache when closing the browser, and to delete your cookies ... just to get rid of ad tracking cookies that spawns processes/apps that bring down other advertisements related to what you've been doing/searching, viewing, etc..
If yahoo mail is not responding (e.g. mail server is slow), it will display a message accordingly. And the "clocking" won't last long. Sometimes, your system slows down because it retains lots of "old" or "temporary" stuff and/or your disk is quite full and/or fragmented causing it to take longer to access data/files, and/or your registry is cluttered up with un-used stuff. In such a case, it helps to clean out the "junk" (e.g. using CCleaner ) and de-frag your disks (regularly).
Sometimes, it helps to shut down and boot the system again (after cleaning out the junk, etc.)
Some may even suggest you get a faster processor, a faster internet connection and/or a bigger disk ... ;-)

How to get rid of ads on my screen when I go to my in box in Yayoo mail

You can either temporarily hide the ads that keep popping up on your Yahoo Mail page or block them permanently. To know how, refer to the steps below.

To temporarily hide ads (for free email accounts):
1)Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account
2)When, while viewing your list of emails or a particular email, an ad pops up, you can see a right-facing arrow between your email and the advertisement. Click on this arrow.
3)The ad will get hidden temporarily.
(Important: This blocks the ads temporarily only and as soon as you perform the actions like refreshing the Yahoo Mail page, marking a particular email as spam, replying to an email, or just clicking on any of the sections in the navigation-menu located on the left of the page, a new ad may pop up again).

To permanently remove graphical and text ads:
Yahoo Mail has recently come up with "Yahoo Ad Free Mail" service to enable you to get rid of graphical and text ads on a permanent basis when viewing your Yahoo Mail account from a computer. You need to sign up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account before starting using this service.
(Note: Before signing up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account, please check if the service is available in your region. Also, even after subscribing to the service, the subscribers may still get the text ads that come up on Yahoo Mail on a mobile web browser and the text ads that come up in the "Basic Mail" interface of Yahoo Mail on a computer. To know what Basic Mail is, refer to the following Yahoo webpage: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail-for-desktop/basic-mail-sln5171.html)
To know more about Yahoo Ad Free Mail service, refer to the following Yahoo webpage:

My system is very slowly proccessed how to keep faster

Hi karthik17v...

You have a couple of things you can do to speed up your system
1...Clean the disk...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup..Check the boxes/programs you want to clean-up
2...Defrag the HD...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragment
3...Add as much memory as the computer will allow.
5. Install and use a ram memory saver program...it will clean and allow the reuse of your Ram...
You can download a free ram optimizer from this webpage: http://download.cnet.com/Free-Ram-Optimizer-XP/3000-2086_4-10238479.html?tag=mncol;1
6...Check your computer for virus's,worms,trojans.
You can do this for FREE.
It may take a while to scan and clean your computer, depending on your Hard Drive size.
If the Microsoft Safety Scanner does not remove all the virus/worms/trojans...you will be given an opportunity to talk to a Microsoft Professional (via a chat window) and he/she will take over your computer (with your permission) and finish removing the virus, trojan, worm for you for FREE...
Go to the following webpage and download, install and run Microsoft Safety Scanner:

I want to get rid of INBOX as my browser

Hi.
To change the homepage on firefox, first, go to whatever webpage you want as your new homepage.
Next, click and hold on the webpage logo that is on the address bar on your browser, and drag it to on top of the house logo for home.
Firefox will ask you if you wish to change homepages to the new one, tell it yes.

That should take care of your problem.

I hope this helps you out today, and good luck !

Have you tried AVG antivirus webpage? They have a free version of their software, 100% usable at :

http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html?part=dl-10044820&subj=dl&tag=button&cdlPid=11014801

Per their website, there is the following info on your worm:
The first version of this virus which is recognized by AVG as Downadup (alternativelly I-Worm.Generic) has been detected at the end of November / begining of December, 2008. Currently there are over 300 unique versions of this virus. AVG detects and protects against all known variants of the worm.
Hope it takes care of it. If not let me know and I'll help you with fixing it so AVG does its job.

I keep getting these pop ups about things in the news. They come every minute or so. It is VERY annoying and I want to get rid of it and keep it from ever happening again.

Those programs are running on the background of your computer or attached to the webpages. You need and antivirus or antispare to get rid of them.

You can get one for free right here:
