When you switch the ECO switch on your generator to the higher revving setting, the generator's motor should increase its RPMs in order to handle the increased load. However, if the A/C power cuts out and the motor starts revving high, it could be an indication of a problem with the generator's control system or a mechanical issue.
It is possible that the control system is not properly adjusting the generator's RPMs in response to the increased load, causing the motor to rev too high and shutting off the A/C power.
It's also possible that the generator's governor, which controls the RPMs, is not working properly, and is not able to adjust the RPMs to the correct level.
Another possible cause could be the generator's voltage regulator or control circuit, which may not be functioning properly.
It's best to have a professional technician diagnose the issue. They will be able to identify the specific cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.
It's also important to make sure that the generator is being operated within the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines to avoid any damage or unsafe operation.
Hey Shawn..did you turn the water back on BEFORE cutting the electricity back on? Cut the breaker off,,, wait 3-4 minutes before restarting.. MAKE sure the water is on ALL the way...
When you put the carburetor back on did you get the linkage springs put back in the correct place? If you have a governor spring off or in the wrong place it will run fast. Running at an RPM higher than the recommended one can cause severe internal damage but shouldn't cause it to be hard to start. The hard start can also be from an incorrect linkage connection
Just started the car and it cut straight out. It revved up like a normal start but instead of revs dropping to normal it cut out. I decided to try and drive it anyway to top up with petrol as light was on (But not near empty) and when I came to a stop it cut out. On starting it up this time the car revved up to the redline by itself and I had to quickly remove the key. It did this 3 more times then on the fourth start it decided to stay on but rev itself and kept reving between 1 and 2000 revs as seen in the video here I just took: YouTube - Alfa 156 constant reving
When I turn the car off it doesn't just cut out as usual either...now it sort of takes an extra few seconds as seen in this second video I just took: YouTube - Delay in turning off (The key is turned at 7 seconds)
I know the is a hole in my exhaust somewhere because there is alot of hot air coming from the drivers door area and its been like this for a few months now but surely a hole in an exhaust can't cause all this. Any ideas?
My truck is doing the exact same thing. I have been told it is the Intelligent Power Distribution Module or IPDM. The Nissan Dealership that is working on my truck says $400.00 parts and labor to fix.
Well first of all, who ever gave you the idea of using ether to start your Titan should be strung up to the rafters and shot with frozen paint balls. Using ether to try to start this vehicle can lead to the heads separating from the block. Do not tell the dealer that you did this!!!
Is the fuel pressure ok? Do you still have spark? Its possible that a cam position sensor is not responding/relaying a signal.
if veh have malfuntion ligth on may be is the cranck possition sensor or the cam sensor, olso if there is no codes
is the IPDM ir intelylled power distribution module veh will cut off when running
