I am separating the first and last names on my spreadsheet and when I do this, the other content on it shows up missing. where does it go and how to keep it where it is?

Hi,

What you need to do before you separate the name is to add a new column next to the column that your about to split, that way it won't over write on the other content.

Good Luck

Uniden cordless phone caller id quit working

Using the Caller ID and Redial Lists
Caller ID (CID) is a service available from your telephone provider that shows the phone number (and sometimes the caller's name) of incoming calls. Contact your telephone provider for more information.
Caller ID list

Redial list

When a call comes in, the phone displays the number and name (if available) of the caller.
The phone saves the information for the last 30 received calls to the

CID list.
When it's in standby, the handset shows how many calls came in since the last time you checked the CID list.

Each handset remembers the last 5 numbers you dialed on it. The redial list is separate for each handset.

I'm separated but not yet legal.. i want to change my last last name.. i want to use my maiden name in my passport.. is it possible?

Yes it is possible, you probably need to change your surname first and the apply for a new passport.

FixYa does notissues or renew passports. This is your government passport department's job.You need to contact the passport office in your city to apply for a new passport. Isuggest you phone for an appointment and ask them what documents you need totake with you when you go for your appointment.

I have a blackberry curve 8330 synched to outlook 2003 for address book. Blackberry is set to display last name first. Outlook contacts on laptop set same, but addresses display on blackberry wrong;...

As annoying as it may be, you might just have to choose the portion that is more important to you - Outlook or the Blackberry. I'm assuming it's the BB.

Since Outlook is different then Outlook Express, you would more than likely have to alter the business contact information in Outlook to make it transfer properly to the BB.

It is a database and not CSV format I'm assuming (comma separated value) format coming from Outlook, but in the process is reads it as a CSV file it seems.

Test it out by entering a dummy business contact and seeing what needs to be where to make it work on the BB.

Since it doesn't have an open source code, I doubt it can be tweaked aside from that.

In Excel find/replace multiple cells when using wilcards?

I don't recognize cell names beginning with an exclamation(!). It usually separates sheetname from cell name, like sheet1!C2. (Probably don't want the "!".) Usually you use names like C2 or $C2 or C$2 or $C$2 for movable cells or partially or fully absolute addresses. The last form doesn't change on moves or copies.
With find and replace you could use just the partial string 2 for find and 4 for replace.
Better yet, copy the cells you want as source and you can just paste the new location and Excel will adjust the non-absolute parts of addresses. (Drag and Drop may apply but Copy and Paste always works.)
There are restrictions on non-contiguous selections. -Ken

How to activate Voicemail on extensions

Adding Subscriber Mailboxes:

1 – Feature 983
2 – Log: = 1020000 (3-digit DNs) or 120000 (2-digit DNs)
3 – Press MBOX
4 – Press ADD
5 – Mbox: enter mailbox number to be added
6 – Type:subscriber Press OK
7 – Ext: Dial station number (the mailbox and extension do not have to be the same, but for simplicity keep the same)
8 – Service class: Typical class is 1
9 – Name: Enter name (last name, first name) per letters on keypad. Dial as in texting for each letter. Press # to enter a comma between last name and first name.
10 – Directory?: YES or NO (for dial by name for company directory)
11 – Msg waiting: YES or NO (to enable “Message for you” display on phone press Yes)

After this set, you can pass by all the other information, since this is a basic setup for a mailbox.

Now that you created the mailbox, you still have to go into the programming to enable forwarding to voicemail.

Router

ah i see, i think the name change wont matter, i'ts the ip address of the router you need to change to the next number from the other router or the last number as long as it's in the same series as all your ip addresses.

You will have to get into the second router separately to change its gateway address then link it in the system, but you will have to turn off DHCP in the router so it cannot give out ip address as only one router can do that, which is what i meant in the first solution posting.

Merging Data in 2 Separate Excel Workbooks

If the First Name and Last name are equal to both work sheets, I will just sort them by First Name and Last name and copy the results into a separate work sheet. If the names are different you will have to use Access: This can be easily done with Access and SQL, just import both work books into different tables to access and use the create query wizard, play with the results until you will get the result you want. Access will also solve the duplicate problem easily. Very important: You will have to use join properties: Read help about join properties and understand how this works... Afterward you can export it back to Excel or use Copy/Paste. If you can't use Access and have only Excel: You will have to use Vlookup on various fields until you will get the result you want. Its a hard work but in the end you will get the same result as access. Let me know what happend Daniel
