This is a bit different on Windows / Mac / iOS / Android but it all works basically the same.
Long press or click on the current Wifi and select Forget.

TP-Link WiFi Range Extender. How do I enter a new WiFi address on my TP-Link extender?

Hi,

Please check the side or bottom of the extender for the steps to update it's wifi signal. If not there, then please visit the extenders ip address through a computer connected to your home internet network, there might be a control page for the extender there. Otherwise, please use the table contents in your wifi extender's manual.

Thank you.

My seiki tv detects wifi but won't connect. even after i enter the password. how do i fix this?

One reason I can think of for your problem is this: your TV detects several other protected WiFi networks (probably from your neighbors) in addition to your own, and it is likely that you entered the password for your network when trying to connect to another network. To check if this is the case and if you don't know your network's name (actually this is called the network's SSID), do the following: turn off your modem/router, then check what WiFi networks are detected by your TV. Write down the names of those networks. Turn your modem/router back on and see what networks are now detected by your TV. The new one on the list is your WiFI network's SSID. Make sure that you connect your TV to that new network.

  1. Choose a laptop or WiFi device that is currently connected to your network. If none of your devices are connected, use an Ethernet cable and connect a computer or laptop directly to your wireless gateway.
  2. Open a web browser and go to the Admin Tool (http://10.0.0.1) - this is the wireless gateway's administration site. The default settings are:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: password (case-sensitive)

Cant set up wifi on my new tablet

To set up your WiFi network, tap the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & networks > WiFi settings. If WiFi is not checked, tap WiFi to turn wireless on, and wait for your tablet to detect nearby networks. Tap the name of your network and enter a security password, if required.

WiFi networks that are configured as private or closed do not display the network name on WiFi-enabled devices. To Join a closed or private network, tap Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & networks > enter the WiFi network name, security, and password.

How to change wifi name in router

The wifi name you are referring to is called SSID, service set identifier. You can change that by logging onto your routers Web based utility. Open your web browser and type in 192.168.0.1 and it will ask you for a user name and password. If you keep the default user name and password the user name should be admin and the password is blank, meaning there is no password set up. After logging on, click on top tab "Setup" and on the side menu "Wireless". You should be able to change the SSID by typing in a new name in the field "Wireless Network Name". Make sure you save the changes! This should then change the name.
