SOURCE: can't hear anything when I used my bluetooth ear piece

When connecting, you must be sure the phone is set to connect to the model of bluetooth earphone you are using, and the connection goes through, Once it makes the connection, it will stal connected until you disconnect it, again using the phone's disconnect key.

Samsung HM700 Bluetooth Headset's light keeps flashing red and blue and can't hear anything, the person on the other end can't hear anything either. Tried re-pairing, but it doesn't work.

Pairing is not the same thing as connecting. The LED will go solid when you complete the next step which is connecting. With headsets that is usually done via the audio source device.

Bluetube is connected to my cell phone but I can't hear anything

There may be linking issues between the headset and the phone. Page 11 of the user guide offers these suggestions. Also, here is a link for re-pairing your headset to the phone:

Plantronics Explorer 230 Pairing Instructions

Remember that you want to purge any possible bluetooth interference from your phone.

"Callers cannot hear me or I cannot hear caller/dialing tone:
The headset is not turned on or the headset is not connected to mobile phone. Press the call control button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep or see the indicator light glow blue to turn headset on.
Your headset is out of range. Move the headset closer to the phone or Bluetooth device.
Your headset battery is drained. Charge your battery using the AC power adapter supplied.
The listening volume is too low. Press the volume key up (toward the earloop) to increase the sound heard in the headset."

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Bluetooth connects to LG Vu phone but does not work

I would suggest taking the battery out when the phone is powered on. Replace the battery and try to re-pair the set.

If that doesn't work, then its likely the bluetooth module in your phone is broken. You can validate this by pairing the bluetooth with another handset.

Can't hear anything in my bluetooth headset, mic is working

Hi--First, make sure your "mute" function is off.  Try holding both volume buttons at the same time for a second or two.  If that doesn't help, while you're having a conversation, either with or without bluetooth, make sure your phone's volume is turned up.  On a lot of phones the volume button will control both ringer and conversation volumes, but turning it up without the phone in use only affects the ringer volume.  My husband thought there was something wrong with his bluetooth until we noticed his phone volume was set too low--not as noticeable on handset, but bluetooth apparently needs volume up pretty high!
