I have a grind and brew Krups but it is not grinding. My husband tried to take it apart to find out the problem, but it is not a normal screw, it's a triangle. Does anyone know where i can find the right tool to fix this?

Sorry for the delay. I will need to look up some reference materials and drawings on this before I can aupply an acurate answer. Been one of those nights and I apoligize for the delay.
I also have the same problem with water leaking out of the bottom. There is a defective hose underneat the burner plate (dry rotted)Mine is manufactured in 05.We contaced Cuisenart to make them aware of the problem and they told us nothing they could do it was out of warranty. After talking to 3 of there costumer service reps.my husband decided to take it apart and found the shredded hose leaking water on the electrical wires. That is why we contacted the CEO of the company and The Consumer product safety commision..They are handeling this issue. You can contact them also .
I had the same thing happen. It turned out that the rubber hose connecting the water reservoir to the heating element had disconnected, probably due to grinding vibration. I found a triangular screw driver to open the coffee maker up at MicroCenter: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0332974
After removing the bottom of the coffee maker, the repair took 1 minute and it is brewing coffee again like new!
I have the same issue. You need to take both dials off, then on the bottom, there are 4 tabs on the inside. Seperate the halves and you will see them. Towards the front and halfway back. Pry the halves apart enough to push the top towards the bottom and it slides apart pretty easy. The tricky part now is finding the replacement part. I have super glued my switch and I want to do something to try and repair it further. Maybe epoxy. I called Krups and they can't sell the part to me. I called one of their service centers and they can't sell the part to me. So, if someone knows where to get the part, I am all ears :)
if you dont have something jamming the grinder look like blow grinder motor you can trie activate the grinder at the same time gently tap the side off machine maybe what ever blocking the grinder gonna come off if not tank good for warranty good luck cheers
One thought is to call Capresso for the recall to fix electrical cord. They will pay shipping both ways and fix any problems for free as part of the recall. Worked for me, might be too late now but worth trying.
