SOURCE: defect internal power supply DSO-142L from HP KVM. Replacement ??

From what I have seen of these the most common problems are due to failing output caps for the +5v rail and -5v rails, causing ripple voltage the tops of these have a tendancy to bulge with the lack of cooling.
Replacing the 2 caps 1 x 2200uf 10v (105degree) and 1x 47uf 10v (105degrees) should solve the problem.

epending on the printer model, the power supply might include a power module inside the printer (internal), a power module that is separate from the printer (external), or a rechargeable battery if you have a mobile printer. For steps to resolve the issue, choose your printer power supply type.

Hp office jetpro 8600 will not print

Basic things to try: -you could start by clicking on devices and printers button on MS start sphere - click on your installed printer right click on "see whats printing and see if any documents are queued in printer - cancel them if there are.

have you checked your ink levels - have you checked ink cartridges are okay (genuine) cartridges if you have just changed them. Is there plastic strips on ink cartridges if new?

have you checked all connections to make sure all peripherals are connected okay.

Have you tried restarting your computer. Have you checked nothing is jammed either in paper tray or inside printer. Is there an error message on the printer console?

sorry this is not a complete solution but you might try these things first.......

seems external power supply is shot try with another external power supply e-bay best shot,if power cord plugs directly in monitor then its internal psu might be cheaper to replace than repair

HP LaserJetIIIP - just won't switch on - cable and fuse OK

I can't believe that someone is still using one of the first LaserJet printers I got certified on!!! If you really want to gut the machine, there is a fuse in the power supply that could have blown. It is also possible that the power supply has finally died on its own after all of these years. You may just want to check the output voltages first to make sure of the status. If some voltages are present and not others, the fuse is still good, but the output circuitry is shot, in which case you would need to get a replacement power supply (if they are even available anymore).

Be careful with the disassembly process. The plastic clips may be brittle after almost 2 decades and could easily snap apart.

Print to fax HP office jetpro L7590 does not work

Sounds like you need the fax driver for the jetpro L7590 . I went to, Selected "Downloads", "Drivers" and enterd "jetpro L7590" into the search. The next screen was a selection of OSs for Windows and one for Mac OS X and Linux. I hope the Mac one is what you need. If it is, download and install it.
