SOURCE: I have a Montgomery ward sewing machine model number uhtj259a and I can't thread it right the thread keeps coming out of the needle when I try to sew

Be sure to pull at least 4 or 5 inches of thread through the needle before taking the first stitch. It is helpful to hold both thread tails in the left hand while slowly taking the first couple of stitches. It also helps to make sure the needle is at its highest point before taking the first stitch.

When threading, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and verify the thread path is correct.
