SOURCE: Fixing Jenn-Air Custom Control

Sure, I meant to get a copy of the schematic last night so that I could send it to you with the changes. I'll get it tonight and send it to you along with the info I have now. The only thing that will be different is that you won't have independent controls of the dual element burner. For me that was fine cause my wife and I never use just the smaller burner but rather always both. The part #1009577 from repair clinic.com is an infinite switch which is already being used in the cook top for the largest burner or if not (cause I actually didn't look) for sure it is used in the JEC9536, just the wider model. This part is rated from 8.9 - 11.0 amps or 2,640 watts, when you hook the two burners together I believe it adds up to 3,000 watts so the infinite switch (the biggest I could locate) is slightly under sized. However, I felt most things especially electrical, are over engineered for safety any ways. When you remove the circuit board you will have to drill out the two slots where the two mounting screws will secure the new switch, or you can do what I did and stick a screw driver in the slots and stretch them slightly (very easy to do). You'll need to find two screws that fit the new switch for mounting ( not too long, if your not sure take one off one of the other infinite switches and match it up). I'll have to get back with you on the wiring, it is rather simple though, most of the connections are the same as the other infinite switches. The grainger.com part number 2FBT6 is just a snap action thermal switch that will replace the thermal sensor that went to the circuit board to light up the hot surface indicator. I tried to use the existing sensor but the hot surface indicator lamp stays lit, so I figured that the sensor was probably a 0-10volt or 4-20mAmp switch that the circuit board monitored and turned on the hot surface indicator accordingly. That is a simple hook up also, however, I have not installed that yet cause I did not find out about the thermal sensor not working for the hot surface indicator until after I put in the infinite switch. Tonight I will install it and let you know what wires go where along with a marked up schematic, maybe even photos if you would like.

SOURCE: remote control codes and directions

You can use the code search, which can be time consuming, but has worked on my TV and DVD. Turn the device on. To use the code search, hold down the device button (SAT.CBL, TV, or VCR.DVD) and then, still holding the device button, press and hold down the ON.OFF button until it lights up and stays lit. (If the ON.OFF button flashes, you pressed the ON.OFF button too quickly. You do not want to try to press them at the same time.) While the ON.OFF button is lit, aim the remote at the device and press the ON.OFF button. Wait about 4 or 5 seconds, and press it again. Continue pressing the ON.OFF button until the device turns off. IMPORTANT: When the device turns off, PRESS THE STOP KEY at the bottom of the remote (the white key with a square in the middle off the bottom row of keys used to stop a DVD or VCR). PAY ATTENTION to the device. If the device turns off, and you press the ON.OFF again, you have reset the code, and you must go back to the beginning and start again.

SOURCE: Remote Control Unit-Fujitsu Air Con. Model:AR-DL1 is broken.

If you contact Fujitsu in your country and you will be able to buy it straight from them, if they are still available. Now I have to warn you as a Fujitsu warrenty agent they are very very expensive.

I would prolly recommend getting a universal remote. ALOT cheaper

Apparently an air conditioner remote control, and not for Television and Video questions group.

Contact sellers on ebay to ask for instructions, assistance, or even purchase an unopened remote control that includes instructions.

https://www.ebay.com is searchable. https://www.google.com is searchable to find an original remote like yours.

Hyundai reverse cycle air con inside unit, intermittently vibrates for about half hour even though powered off

you have to find were it comes from, if fan motor and compressor are not powered up check the revers valve, relay and transformer you can use your insulated hand (Glove) to feel any vibrations comming from them as some transformers and relais tend to vibrate under load

Please give me instruction on how to work a RCA universal remote?

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" view. It will make surf easier.

Hello I have Sharp Air con/Heating AY-XPM9FR with a floor/wall unit and a higher wall unit that are supposed to work in conjunction with each other. I have never had any problems until we had a power cut...

Hi Helen, i want to know the age of your Sharp Air con/Heating system. If its more than 1 year and you using it regular basic , then i suggest you change the battery or the remote control first then try . If the same thing happens then follow the instruction as per below image.
b84000b.jpg
If there is also ok & look good then ,please call a service man and check the air cooling/ heating gas. Because you mentioned "I have the manual and have tried to reset the timers using the remote control but still no good. " Another chance you can take before call the service person, just reset the full system by remote control not only the timer. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

KELVINATOR AIR CON

More than likely it is the remote sensor in the indoor unit. Then again I presume that it is the correct remote control. Sometimes a remote for one aircon may not communicate with another aircon even if they are the same brand.
