My phone won't pair with my Ken wood KAC- PSS47 amplifier

It paired a couple of times but now nothing pairs with it

Hello,
With the Samsung WEP210 this is a common problem (which is actually just a user error)
This is what you do:
1. Of coarse make sure the headset is charged
2. Make sure the bluetooth headset if OFF
3. PRESS and HOLD the top/middle (on/off) button until the light stays on (it will blink then should stay on continuously). That means it is now in pairing mode.
4. Tell you phone to search for bluetooth devices.
5. It should find the headset, and by default type "0000" to pair your new headset**

**You can use whatever pin code you like......but I would recommend the default which is four zeros.

With headset off... turn on bluetooth search from the phone.
Hold on button on headset until light turns solid blue. Then search for connection from phone. (code is 0000 (4zeros))

Try holding down the green button release the mike then enter 0000 the phone should then pair. This worked for me so I hope it will work for you.

The pin code 60BT is not working for my installed Balboa ME60BT blue tooth amplifier unit? It finds it and asks for the pin and when I put it in it says pairing unsuccessful.

Are you certain that the amplifier is not the problem? Bluetooth needs both devices to be powered up and the Bluetooth circuitry to be active at the time of pairing attempts. Since Bluetooth is a radio frequency technology you may be having some device that is producing radio frequency interference that causes the pairing to stop because the Bluetooth adapter in one or both of the devices can't get a good signal or a strong enough signal.


Try to do the pairing with nothing else in the house operating on electricity. That means nothing - including battery powered items - should be turned on and powered up when you try the pairing again. Interference does not have to be in Bluetooth frequency range to create a problem, because of harmonics - a sympathetic frequency stimulated by a given frequency generating device. This can be a neon sign or a wireless telephone, or some other device like microwave ovens or even electric motors.


Once you have radio silence within the Bluetooth distance range, try to pair it again. If it still will not pair your amplifier, I'd call their customer support and ask them to walk you through the procedure; there is the possibility they may have another code or technique to force the pairing. If it still fails, I would deduce that there is a problem in the amplifier unless you've been able to pair it before. In that case you may be having a problem with the device you are pairing it to.

My wife and I have the same sanyo vero phones. I paired mine to my car sucessfuly. I can't get hers to pair to the same car. Help !

Your car's bluetooth can only be paired to one device at a time. You would have to release it from your ohone to allow it to pair with hers. It's actually uncommon for any bluetooth audio device to be capable of pairing to multiple devices. I know that Jabra is the only manufacturer that I have found with headsets that will pair multiple devices.
Short answer is that it simply won't work.

I am trying to pair a Blackberry 8900 to the HS830 Bluetooth device. I know the passcode is 0000. But the Blackberrry is not detecting the HS830 at all. It detects other Bluetooth items, but not this one....

Put the headset in PAIRING mode, if it has been paired with another phone, it will not accept a new pairing or another phone until you put it in pairing mode again. Press the button until the LED gets steadily ON, search the headset and pair it with the new phone. It only accepts one paired phone at a time.

KAC-9104D output terminals

This feature allows the amp to be paired to any stereo. The input may be in stereo but the amp then changes it back into mono using sound from both sides. Hope this answers your question.

look at the Z [impedance] specs for the amp. Look at the Z for the speakers. You may eventually have to wire them in a series-parallel config or risk blowing your output transistors.

Due to the utilization of so many drivers, your power demands are limited. The more drivers you utilize, the more volume loss. Bass response requires a lot of power (W) in which to drive.

Do not worry about paper or polyprop/carbonate structures... focus on your impedance issue or risk frying the output transistors in the long run [thermal runaway].

Speaker outputs blown on 4 channel amp

the outputs should be replaced in pairs, there are 2 to 4 pairs, but you sould only need 1 pair replaced. these transistors typically range between 10 to 30 cdn each + labour, look for 1 to 1.5h to replace & test the unit after repair. check your local repair shop for their rates. good luck
