Door will not open

Hi,

Remove the top cover, and release the door catch from inside the washer, you will probably need a screwdriver or similar to do do this. You will need to replace the door catch and spring, and possibly the door lock, as it may break when you force the door open.

Thank you !!

Vbsr3100dawn washer water leaking between tub hotpoint

Hi, there is a tub seal (WH02X10032) that can be replaced, however, the tub nut generally requires the GE tool to remove. The nut is hex shaped, but is made of a pretty soft alloy so it can break if you use a regular wrench. Once the tub is out, you may also find that you need a new tub nut and split ring.

How to remove agitator

If this is a Hotpoint. You should just be able to pull it up and out. Sometimes they stick. Usually you can just reach in and put your fingers underneath on opposite sides and pull up and they will come out. If they are stuck bad you may need a special tool to get it out without breaking it but that is rare.
