Sylvania 32 inch flatscreen, model number LC320SS2, made in 2011

This problem is caused by your TV's V-chip setting.
To fix the problem:
Push the "Menu" button (on either the remote or the TV's fromt panel).
Use the "Channel Down" button to go to "V-CHIP SETUP"
Use the "Volume Up" button to select it.
In the V-chip setup screen, the rating that is selected by the user as viewable will allow that rating and only lower ratings to be viewed on that TV. (If TV-G) is selected, then any programs rated higher than TV-G will be blocked.
So, the easistway to get rid of any blocking is to set the rating to TV-MA (mature), and then any and all programs will be viewable on that set. Select "TV-MA" by hitting the "Volume Up" button after you have scrolled down to that rating with the "Channel Down" button.
Then hit "Menu" to exit out of the settings and saave your changes.

The code is 1944 on a universal remote, but you will only be able to access basic functions, not the setup functions....you will need to find the original remote on ebay or something to get full access to the TV functions

If I have the right manual you should connect the wii cable from the package to th backside of the tv. You will see four pluges. Choose with VGA you want to use, this is not important. Use the cable from the wii and plug in two of three pluges, you must match te coulors. If you have a cable box installed you will probably have scart (a big cable with a large head) connect this and it would run smooth. You can also connect the three pluges from the cable to your cable-box, use the red, wihte, and yellow pluge.

Sounds like a bad power supply or a bad power control board/circuit board. This seems to be a bit common with these lcd's.
