It needs factory remote reset. This may sound wierd but it will fix it! and you need to be handy with a soldering iron. Open up you remote control and solder 2 wires onto pins 15 and 21 of the micro. Make sure your TV is a PAL unit. The easiest place would be to look in the owners manual. If you no longer have it, there should be a PDF format online. It should tell you what cable you need.

the pin number is a number you create yourself for instance if you type in 0000 then the other person will need to type in 0000 too, to connect to your phone. Once you have connected once you will always be connected to that phone and will not need to put the pin number in again.
