SOURCE: I have a Rainbow RB1

Hi Andy, I think I have found a solution to your problem. With the time and day set, clear the program for each station by selecting Start 1, station 1, off, and repeat for each station. Then select Start 1, Station 1 and hold down the Day button. The Mon for Week 1 of the cycle should appear. Then if you hold down the Off button, the Mon will scroll down to your allocated watering day of week 1 eg Sat. Then, Hold down the Day button again until the next day appears eg Sun in my example above. If you again hold down the Off button, that Sun will scroll through to your allocated day of the week in Week 2. Hope this helps. Next job will be to change it when restrictions change in summer! Orbit Easy Dial 6 station will not see AC power intermittently and will not run all the stations.

replace the ac adapter, you should have 24 VAC out of it, check the 24 VAC when each station is running.

I have a 12 station Orbit Model #57900and I want to water the same stations two to three times a day

Program modes
Program A or 1 is your primary program setting. All Zones will run on this program.
Select program B. Or 2
Set start time for program B usually an hour or two after the LAST zone (12) run time on program A or 1
1. set selected run time for the zones you want to run. 5 min -20 min ( leave the others 00:00 or off)
Select program C or 3
And repeat above.

Keep track of the start times of each program as 12 zones running for 10 min will add up to 120 min or 2 hours total. So if Program A/1 starts at 6am it will finish at 8 am. Set program B/2 start time at 11am. Them select the specific area/zone you want to run again will water the area a second time. Just remember to leave the other areas you don't want to water Set at 00:00 or off. Repeat through all the programs and you off to enjoy your day. Cheers

How can the orbit mdoel 57894 be progrmed for multiple start times?

The product manual is confusing... how do you set 1-5 am and 2-12 pm and 3-5 pm? The manual says to press program button to choose A B or C programs, but does not give steps for programming or when to press enter to confirm setting... or say which position the dial should be in when programming.

57894 lets you program separately for each station...turn dial to Run Time and use arrow keys to select a station. Press enter or arrow keys to advance to next station.
57894 offers 'select a station', 'pick days of the week or interval between watering for that station', 'duration of watering for that station'. But picking days of the week is not the same as setting exact times 1-5 am and 2-12 pm.
The dial is set to auto for programs to operate..
Don't forget to activate battery located top right on face of timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Orbit-57894.pdf

So the 57894 has more options than a 24-hour analog sprinkler timer that repeats same cycle each day with 14-day-skipper.

Model 57882 9 station timer I did set up station 1 where do I begin in order to set up station 3

Question is not clear.
Do you have programming problem with the timer?
Or problem locating sprinkler heads?
Or a sprinkler valve problem?
Add a comment with detailed information.

Sprinkler timer turns ON-and-OFF.
Timer does not advance the sprinkler to next station. The sprinkler valve advances to next station when timer turns OFF.
For example, when timer turns ON, then station 1 starts watering.
Timer turns off, and then sprinkler valve automatically advances to station 2.
Timer turns on again, and station 2 starts watering.

Cannot set for a second watering time for certain areas of lawn. Have a Orbit 6 Station. Certain areas of lawn have been replaced and require additional watering.

Set up a B Program for the zones that need extra watering.
Say you want zone 2 and zone 3 to run 20 minutes every day in addition to your normal watering.
Set B Program, put Z2 and Z3 time of 20 minutes in, set a start time that is away from your normal watering time, say 6:00 pm. Set every day watering.
Your normal program will water and Z2 and 3 will water every day, too.
