I would try the abvious first, unplugg the tv from the ac outlet and wait for a few seconds then try turning tv on see if the problem is solved, if not it might be that the key board panel needs replacing.

Change input on Hitachi LCD TV model LE65K6R9 without remote?

I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. Here are other alternatives: Using physical buttons: You can find the physical buttons on the left or right back side of the Hitachi TV. Using these keys, you can change the input, adjust the volume, or turn on Hitachi TV without a remote. Press the Input button located at the back or side of the Hitachi TV. The list of connected sources will appear on the TV screen12.

Using external devices: Connect a wireless keyboard or mouse to your Hitachi TV and change the input1.

Buy a universal remote: You can buy a universal remote to control your Hitachi TV and change the source.

Hi. I have a harwa 32 inch tv flat screen. It has a blank screen but the power light remains red and respond to the remote if i switch on and off. I tried to unplug for almost 24 hours and checked the...

Have you tried checking the source/input? On the remote push the source or input button and try changing your source- hdmi 1, hdmi 2, wherever you have your cables hooked up, and make sure that particular source is powered up. On the tv's we've had, the outside antenna source is either called "video" or "tv". A quick clue would be if you push the input button and the little menu doesn't even appear. I'd say the screen is dead!

Can I change HDMI1 to HDMI2 or Video manually without the remote

On some TVs, you can change inputs by using a Source or Input button on the TV. These front panel buttons may be on the bottom of the TV bezel, on the right hand side or on the back on the right side as you face the TV. Once you locate the FPA buttons, you either press the Input button several times. Press the Select equivalent or just wait for the input to change. Alternatively, you need touse the Channel or Volume buttons (one pair becomes Up/Down, the other Left/Right) to navigate through the list. Then hit the button that gives the Select equivalent. A few models let you change inputs after pressing the Menu button on the TV and moving through the on-screen menu to a Source sub-menu. Not all TVs support this.

Please add a comment with the manufacturer and model of your TV for specifics that apply to your TV.

I hope this helps.

(Note: if you replace your remote control, check for a Source or Input button on the universal remote. Then try multiple codes for your TV brand to find a code that gives the input function properly.)

Our tv says 2-1 instead of hdmi.

Your television source has been changed to OTA and is tuning in the digital channel 2-1. Depending on the TV, there will be a source or input button on the original remote. You either press this button several times to change the source or you use the arrow keys to navigate through the list. You may need to press OK/Enter to confirm the selection. Some TVs also have a source/input button among the TV front panel buttons. Again you press the button several times or use the arrow key equivalents on the front panel to navigate through the list. On a few TVs, changing the source may be inside the on-screen menu. If you have a universal remote, it may match the source/input function. However, this depends on if the best code is programmed. (Some codes for a given brand don't match all of the functions for a given TV.)

Please add a comment with the make/model and the remote (if not the original remote) if you need help changing the source.

How to change input on tv without a remote

Which TV do you have? Some will have an Input or Source button on the front panel. A few will have an option to change the source from the menu. Both of these options require the front panel lock to be inactive.

A few older TVs allowed you to find the A/V input by pressing Channel Down on the front panel buttons until you passed channel 2 (or Channel Up until you nearly reached Channel 2). This option wouldn't work if the A/V inputs had been deleted when someone minimized going through unused channels.

If the Source or Input button was only available on the remote, you will need a universal remote that includes this feature. These cost a bit more than the lowest end remotes. Then you will have to try all of the codes to find the one that makes the Source button work with your TV. (Several codes may work for On/Off but not the change input.) The Universal remotes that can be programmed from a computer (USB connection) will be the easiest to set up. Remotes.com may have a replacement original or substitute remote for your TV that should work for all of the TV functions.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the TV make and model for specific options for your particular TV.

(low end TVs usually only had the Source/Input button on the remote.)

Where do i find INPUT SELECTon zenith tv sy2779dt,trying to hook up Wii and default Wii screen does not come up. manual says to change IS. don't have orig remote, only dish 500.is there a way to change IS...

Hello,
Most tv's have a physical button on the front and it will either be labeled input or source-source select. If thats not the case on your tv, look for a menu button and try to navigate through the tv menus until you find tv input or source select. If that still does not work, you can use your dish 500 remote and if you already use that to turn the tv on and adjust volume, you can probably use it to change the input. To do this, select the tv mode on your dish 500 remote, and then press the source or input button until you get to where you need to be. Once thats done, make sure you return your remote to sat mode or you will not be able to control the dish reciever. Hope this was helpfull to you.
Thanks

We lost the remote and we are trying to hook up our Wii to the front panel box. How do we change the input to the front panel without the remote

On the side of the TV there are a set of buttons. An Input button is next to the Menu button and will let you access the different sources connected to the TV. For the front panel input, look for the source labeled Front. (There are also volume control and channel +/- buttons.) The button order is Input, Menu, Vol -, Vol +, Ch -, Ch +.

If you want, you can get a substitute remote that is guaranteed to match the original remote's features here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=32V524T&uuid=12935850039140 .

I hope this wants.
