In my washer Avanti model W789SA drain valve motor does not start the drain pump. Haw to fix it?

It's going to be hard finding parts for this machine because I have one as well. You can search the internet or call the company. The last time I had problems with my machine the company told me they stop making parts for this particular brand. Don't give up looking for parts, maybe someone else sells the parts for this washer. SOURCE: I just bought a Frigidaire Affinity washer model

perhaps not in that hose but in the pump housing just below it, quite possible that someting is jamming the imopellar preventing proper draining of water

You are right the issue seems to be with the motor that is bad and should be replaced, timer seems to be working fine. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

You will need to replace the drain pump. What is the model number?
