what transmission is there, AMT is reverse dead too?
that is a bad clutch or bad clutch slave cylinder connect to TCM..

yes is manual in the guts but no out side.
there is some kind of automatic clutch to that that. no clutch pedal.
There is TCM that does all the shifting and clutching.

Just had a AMT given to me so will work on restoring it lucky it runs after some work ... John Deere AMT 626 and Kawaski 175 ... I tightened up the belt and the chain, Wondering what your chain looks like at the tensioner? ... check out my next video on the amt i got it all done now i did adjust the tensioner so ..
Also here is also a handy test for you, Have you tried Sound Recorder within your computer. I am saying this since this is another way to test your Microphone. If you are puzzled on where Sound Recorder is on your computer, then follow this info. Record audio with Sound Recorder Then run a test in there, If it don't work at all, come back here. Then we can advise more from there.

Manual transmission does not change gears with transmission oil. If yours is the AMT type, get it scanned for error codes.If the problem is in shifting into R, get your clutch cable adjusted. Your clutch plate may have also worn out. If shifting is OK but the car just does not move, the gear linkage/cable may need adjustment. If all else is OK, the reverse gear in the transmission may have been damaged.
maybe wrong viscosity in the clutch cavity, make sure its the proper oil. then think about making a complete clutch adjustment. check the service manual for making adjustments.
there should be an adjuster screw and lock nut on the clutch cover plate that will adjust the play in the clutch mechanism and cable. adjust that and play with the clutch until it engages and disengages correctly
Have you tried adjusting your clutch cable? If the clutch was bad you would rev the engine in gear but the bike would not speed up as it should because the clutch was slipping. But if your cable is out of adjustment pulling the lever may not be disengaging the clutch. You should find the adjustment at the clutch lever, should be a larger locknut and a smaller adjusting screw. You want about 1/2" of freeplay in the lever before it starts disengaging the clutch.
Did it stall with a big **** like you didn't pull in the lever or did it just die? If it died, maybe the sidestand switch is faulting, killing the engine because it thinks your kickstand is still down.
