The POLAROID Portable DVD player red cased model DPA-07032S has a 7 inch screen & uses a remote and does have manual controls on the player, but the POLAROID DVD REMOTE has more function buttons & might be required to remove that INVALID ID KEY-how do you get rid of that onscreen INVALID ID KEY whenever the sound dont work?

So I am guessing you have audio and no video, your monitor has went out. you can check and see if ribbon cable is slightly uplugged, but maybe just a bad monitor. These happen usually from a drop or hard hit to the unit.

Here is the link to Polaroids phone support page. I suggest that everyone call Polaroid and complain about this issue since many people are having this same problem, and Polaroid's answer to me was maybe we will have some codes for our new TV's by Jan of next year.

if you have already tried "code search" then you may have to return that remote and get a different name brand of universal remote.

I heard that no universal remotes have codes for RJ-TECH products. Also each remote has separate codes for each brand was told by another person, My remote broke as well and I found that a lot of remotes around the house had certain buttons that did different features on my dvd player. So if you have a remote which can record the infared codes for each button (Macro codes or something) that would work but I am not sure if there is a way to get the exact buttons on a universal remote to work on the dvd player. The second option is buy a universal remote from RJ-TECH if they sell them. I am just about to check for myself now, if they dont have 1 I'm buying a new DVD player cause its usesless if I cant control all the features without a remote.
