I have a new Belling 100 dft range cooker. When I switch the grill off there seems to be a fan still on for a few minutes is this normal. I do not have a manual to check this out.

this one has a down draft grill on the top , does it not . if so fan is normal as you want it too continue to pull smoke down into filter bottom and not let it out all over kitchen , it times off as grill cools to a point not to let any more smoke out into kitchen

make sure you clean your down draft filter weekly more if your a daily user , these can become a real problem if left go

How do I get the red light to go off on fan

That is just a reminder based on operating time to clean the filters. Just hold your finger on the clean filter button for 10 seconds to reset it, as per the operators manual.

I need to replace the battery in the Overhead Door (Model # 109130-390) remote and I can't figure out how to open it to get to get to the battery.

You need to remove the clip that holds to it the overhead visor by tugging it hard to pull it out of it's slot. Underneath there's a screw that lets you open it up to get to the battery.

Stoves newhome

the residue is the grease being exhuasted from the oven.i wouldnt think you could vent it out unless you have an overhead hood.if its really bothersome look at a home depot/lowes for a heat/fire resistant filter and install it on the oven somehow.
