SOURCE: freezer compartment

You need to defrost the whole fridge and at the back in the freezer compartment you will c a small drainage hole.. look for it.. The get a piece of say hanger wire and clean this pour some hot water from a kettle down it and then start your fridge up again. that should sort your problem out ... if not then its either a sensor or a board fault...

SOURCE: Freezer ok fridge warm (15 degrees)

You have a hotpoint mistral f/f i take it in silver..

Check to see if the fan is running at the bottom on the back of the fridge its next to the compressor behind the panel ...
if the compressor is running and the fan is not then your fault is the fan..

IF the fan is running then its the sensors...

These are located in the freezer section, pull out the draws and remove the panel behind it.... six screws.......... you will c threes plugs at the top ledt hand side.. the yellow one is for the fridge the green one for the freezer.... replace both if your freezer is not working...

Also just below the freezer door there is a panel remove the panel and use a vaccumm to clean the fluff that has built up on the coils..

hope this helps if you need anymore help dont hesitate to ask...

by the way the sensors are called evap thermistors...

Turn it off , so it can defrost for about 5-8 hrs . Then turn it back on , and it should re-coup , and start working normal . The compressor is not bad .

Hotpoint RZA30 Future Freezer keeps icing up. needs defrosting every month

freezer can over ice when not enough air is curculating to the back of the unit, if you have a very warm or hot kitchen the curculation on your freezer over ices the contence because of lack of air getting to the pump, the grinding noise could be the pump working overtime trying to gather air. also check the back where the tank is to made sure nothings been damaged ie - kinked in pipes.

Freezer not working

Hi,
As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Freezer -5 Fridge 50

You have a defrost problem. Refrigerator gets cold via freezer. If blocked with frost, will restrict cold air into refrigerator.
