I had the same problem and I think I may have just figured it out. Plug in your camera as you normally would. Then right click on My Computer and then click Properties. Click on Device Manager and locate the Vivicam 4100 USB Device in the Drives section. Right click it and Uninstall. When it is off the list, unplug the camera from the computer. With the camera still turned on, plug it back into the computer. There should be a little icon in the system tray that it is locating the drivers. It will take a long time so be patient. After a few minutes, a window should appear asking what you want to do with the new device. If you open the folder to view files, you'll want to make sure to copy the drive letter to make a shortcut to the desktop as the drive won't always or immediately show up in My Computer. Also make sure to Safely Remove Hardware from the system tray. I hope that helps. It was a pain in the you-know-what.

hi there
i'm afraid the biggest card you can use on this camera is 512 mb, which should give you about 150 pics at medium quality.
