Does anyone have a picture of the back of Philco 841205 Philco-Capital. I received this from a friend and I think her dad messed with the screws and the lid won’t open all the way. I just want to see what was originally there. Thank you

Where can I purchase a turntable needle for my philco 841205

What you need to do is look at the cartridge it fits in. It should have a make and model number on it. Put them into a Google search and the cartridge and Stylus should come up.

Brand new in box..cd will not open

If it is BRAND NEW, obviously it's defective and you shouldn'n mess with it. Return it to the shop where you bought it and claim your warranty. Trying to "repair" it might VOID your warrant!

A few years ago I purchased a Philco capital turntable CD cassette. One day my wife was listening and for some reason she pressed the standby button, ever since then nothing will work. The power does come...

maybe the button when being pressed isn't releasing through a bad button . it would make sense that when the button is pushed it stops all functions so if you r able to disconect the button from the wires tape the wires together to create a closed circuit and see if it works personally i would take it to a repair facility for the safety factor of messing around with it but if u want try it

The turntable won't spin....HELP!!!

Hiya, check the power is on!!

If ok then remove the platter and check that the belt is on. Put it on the platter first, putt the platter back then put the belt back onto the motor.

If none of those, then a liitle more serious... sorry!

Best of luck

above shows the general installation method for virtually all turntables. If it keeps falling off, you will need a new belt.

Philco 841.205 TurnTable spring and plastic armature pulled off HELP

Well it turned out that that 45 degree plastic piece DID or WAS attached to the main post. It snapped off. I super glued it back on and to each side of that very flimzy broken plastic I cut two very small pieces of wood (using popsicle sticks) and super glued THOSE to either side of the broken armature piece. Once dried I re-attached the spring and it worksd like a charm.
