I want to use the e studio 200 as a printer

I have a Toshiba E Studio 200 connected to my home PC through a router. My PC has Windows Vista so you know. I have been told I need to know the IP address for the e studio 200 in order to get my PC to talk to it. How do I find the IP address?

Also, on the keypad of the Toshiba E studio 200, the printer button seems to be disabled. Not sure if that is a big problem or not. I can push the copy button to get to copy functions. I can push the Fax button and get to fax functions. The printer and scan buttons just beep and do nothing.

Help! Please.

Thanks,
Dave (Florida)

The reason the printer button dont work can be several things have you got the printer boards and snanner board fitted if so hte reason it cant connect is you also need fthe gateway address .. this is the ip of the router..the signal for printing has to pass through this to and from the computer to the network card in the copier..

Hi All, I am trying to connect Toshiba e-studio 207 via local network but unable to make it work.

Best way to Check is getca status page from your printer ,check the IP address that’s been assigned to your printer via dhcp from the router ,then just add the printer manually by creating a tcpip port with that op address
